Appraisals are available for dealers, collectors, investors, insurers, attorneys, estate managers, bankers, adjusters, trustees and the general public. Appraisals are available for estate dispersal, probate, divorce etc. An item you own may have different appraised values based upon the purpose of the appraisal. For example appraised value for estate tax will differ from the appraised value for consumer resale, which in turn will differ from the appraised value for charitable contribution. Appraisals may also be used for the purpose of liquidation, loan collateral, casualty loss, and investment. Rates for this service are based upon time spent preparing the appraisal which includes, travel, viewing items, photographs, research and compilation of paperwork. I do not charge a fee based upon the value of an item or collection.
